New York Personal Chef, Rachel Signer’s expertise in the kitchen started with a passion for healthy cooking. She trained at the Institute for Culinary Education and has worked in several New York City restaurants, including Upland with chef Justin Smillie. Upland is a beacon of stunning California-inspired cuisine in the bustling heart of New York City. She also worked at Oceana, the flagship of the Livanos Restaurant Group, where she fell in love with farm to table cooking and oysters!

My partnership with Rachel began because I want to bring healthy cooking options to my busy and health conscious clients.

Rachel is passionate about cooking and having had her in my kitchen, I can tell you, she is able to create delicious and healthy meals that not only satisfy my husband’s desire for meat and chicken, but also my desire for plant based dishes. Not an easy task!

The intake form we’ve created together, allows her to understand what you like and dislike, along with your current wellness plan.

She shops at Whole Foods ahead of time, pops into your kitchen and creates six or eight dishes that will last the entire week. Depending on the size of your family, she will adjust the portions to feed just you or your family of four.

Personal Chef Rachel, tailors the menu to your dietary restrictions and personal tastes as well as specific nutritional and health and wellness needs. She is well versed in cooking Gluten-Free, Kosher, Vegan, Vegetarian, Paleo, Ketogenic, Renal, and Whole 30.
