Josephine was born and raised in Cambridge, Ohio where she spent her mornings doing Mousercise! and her evenings in ballet class. She received a BFA in Musical Theatre with a concentration in dance from Otterbein University in Columbus, Ohio and went on to tour the country as Rumpleteazer in the 25th Anniversary National Tour of Cats. She moved to the city in 2006 and worked at Gold’s Gym as their personal training coordinator until she made her Broadway debut as a Who in How the Grinch Stole Christmas. While playing the role of Regina in Broadways long running Rock of Ages, Josephine went on to become a certified Barre Instructor and has taught over 1,000 hours of group and private classes. She lives in South Orange, NJ with her Shiba Inu, Wicket, and is a volunteer with St. Barnabas Hospice and Palliative Care. She passionately believes that everyone and every BODY, at any level, can find a workout that not only produces results but more importantly fulfills and benefits their everyday life.
