Nickname My family and friends call me Ash. It actually makes my day when people call me Ash without knowing it’s my nickname.
Favorite workout song/ destress song / get motivated song
My fav songs change pretty frequently but this week I have been jamming to Jessie Jay Bang Bang to get me pumped when working out. My destress song is often a song I listen to at night before I fall asleep to help ease my mind it’s a song by Sara Bareilles called Once Upon Another Time. I am on a Sara Bareilles kick right now so my two motivational songs I walk through New York's crazy streets jamming to right now for serious motivation are Sara Bareilles Brave and Let the Rain. Both great reminders to walk through life as your truest self and love the light you bring into the world. Sara Bareilles is speaking to me right now!
Favorite Fall themed food / Favorite guilty pleasure food turned good
I love butternut squash in the fall. My favorite guilty pleasure fall food is actually a drink. Rather than getting a sugar filled fall coffee drink I make my own. I simply add a couple drops of vanilla, a little cinnamon and a 1/4 tsp coconut sugar with a tblsp unsweetened vanilla almond milk and tada! Fall yumminess in a glass!
Favorite Fall activity
Drinking a fall beverage outside and taking in the smells and sounds of fall, and because I am obsessed with Halloween, my happiest day of fall is when I get to start busting out my Halloween decorations. I may have already started.
Most proud trainer moment
I think my most proud fitness moment was when I was told by a client that she has really appreciated our sessions, that she has learned a lot and always feels like I am pushing her to work just a little harder and be just a little better.
Best "on-the-go" fitness/nutrition tip
I am a huge fan of having a protein bar in my bag at all times but I love to treat myself to a peanut butter protein smoothie at a healthy smoothie joint or grab a small thing of berries and a banana from any of the small markets or vendors in NYC. It is convenient, healthy, easy to eat on the go and super cheap!
